But it was originally recorded by Tori Alamaze in 2004.

Even crazier: the song was co-written by CeeLo Green and Sir Mix-A-Lot 😳

And that famous hook?

It was inspired by Sir Mix-A-Lot’s 1988 song “Swass”, where he sang:
