Spring Green Educational Foundation

Last Saturday our board gathered to spend the day connecting and creating as we shared our vision for the foundations future. Providing a safe space for others to heal emotional wounds, including grief, continues to be our commitment. We have new ideas and an old passion that continues to grow.

And just like that, downtown Toledo felt a little more loved because of the random acts of kindness from some of our SG Family. Consider this your invitation to join in on the movement, you may just be the rainbow in someone's cloud.

We may assume the photo on the right is the grieving dad, but the one on the left is equally as true. We forget often men show their grief different than women and often put on a "front" because of their belief they're responsible for keeping the family together through the pain. For all the fathers out there who silently struggled yesterday for the child who wasn't there, we honor your grief and recognize it's no less valued than any others.
