As Texas braces for an arctic storm, STC administration is keeping a close watch on the severe winter weather forecast for the Rio Grande Valley this weekend. Below normal temperatures, severe wind chills, freezing conditions and dangerous driving conditions are expected for parts of the state. From ranches to the classroom, STC HVACR lecturer finds a calling in teaching South Texas College Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVACR) Lecturer Juan Jasso says he has forged a journey that began on rural ranches in Zapata County and now leads him to inspire students in the classroom.
