Long time no post. I've been busy trying to beat back the jungle taking over the garden beds.
Bottle Tree Gardening will be at 2 sales this month:
The Grand Strand Native Plant Market is this Saturday, October 12th, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Conway, SC. This is a great sale in Conway's vibrant downtown.
On October 26 the Lowcountry Native Plant Society will have their fall sale at the Mt' Pleasant, SC Farmers Market from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
There are lots of pollinators in the garden now. Pictured are a buckeye butterfly on elephant's foot, a carpenter-mimic leafcutter bee with a belly coated with pollen on sneezeweed, and a long-tailed skipper on great blue lobelia.
