Dear Amazing Patrons,
We have had a pretty great start to providing coffee and community to Sto-Rox in the form of Renewal Coffee, and we want to keep that shared vision alive. To do this, I need to take a brief hiatus during the month of April to retool and rethink how we provide that in a way that is affordable to the community and sustainable for me as a small business owner and for Focus On Renewal. Thank you all so much for your continued support and understanding. Please keep following us on Facebook and Instagram for updates, as well as stay on the lookout for emails pertaining to special events, community conversations, potential job postings and the Barista Training Program. Everyone, meet Ebony Darwin. Ebony Darwin, meet everyone! Ebony is my first Barista Trainee in our Barista Training Program. This program was a collaborative effort from the Focus On Renewal Fortunes Gourmet Coffees and MRCDC . Ebony is from the Sto-Rocks High School and is going to whip this place into shape! Pictured here: Ebony works on SnapChat Drawing Contest for the McKees Rocks area while I prepare a coffee tasting for her. Super exciting to be able to offer this program. More on this to come but just know this is far out.
