Today's a huge milestone for me as I receive the final fitting for my new prosthetic leg! 🦵🎉 It’s been quite the journey since my below-knee amputation last year. From healing and fittings to a few unexpected setbacks, like a prototype shattering at home, I've learned a lot about resilience and adapting to new challenges.

This new prosthesis gives me greater freedom and the ability to tackle life’s adventures with confidence—more travel, gardening, and navigating uneven terrain. Each step I take reminds me that setbacks don’t define us; it’s all about how we adapt and keep moving forward. Here’s to new beginnings and the next chapter of my journey! 💪✨

People often ask me why I continue to take on new projects.
The answer is simple.
I want to leave medicine better than I found it.

Whether it's mentoring students, helping physicians pivot their careers, advocating for disability inclusion, building new healthcare businesses, or sharing my own story, I believe our experiences are meant to be shared.

This summer, I'll have the opportunity to share that mission with an even larger audience.
