Happy (almost) Halloween, y'all!
Thankfully, there's nothing TOO scary about our Halloween forecast.
Temperatures should make it into the lower 70's tomorrow afternoon, giving way to the lower/middle 60's by 7pm.
By the end of the night, it might be a little chilly, but that should be alright.
Skies will be clear and everything will stay quiet tomorrow!

Hey Central Texas!
We're issuing ANOTHER Weather Impact Alert for tomorrow morning (10/30).
With calming conditions, clear skies & low humidity, temperatures will drop rapidly tonight.
Because of that, some areas west of I-35 could see their first freeze of the season.
Our forecast has areas like Goldthwaite & San Saba reaching 35° by tomorrow morning, BUT any minor change could see those freezing temperatures sneak in!
Here's your opportunity to make sure to take those winterizing measures (bring in sensitive plants/cover the outdoor faucets, etc) before we see that first freeze of the season...

Hey friends!
Well, our cold front made it...
You won't notice any drastic temperature changes today, but the winds are picking up!
Sustained winds this afternoon are at 15-20, with some areas seeing gusts up to 35mph.
We'll keep these conditions in the forecast through tomorrow, as well.
We've issued a WEATHER IMPACT ALERT and the NWS has issued a WIND ADVISORY through tomorrow evening to account for the high winds.

(5:15p) A few things in this update...
1) A new SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING is in effect for Burnet County. A storm with a history of producing half-dollar size hail is moving across the Colorado River, moving east across Burnet County.
2) A FLOOD ADVISORY is in effect for parts of McLennan County. Some small stream flooding was observed in McGregor, with water covering some low-water crossings. Rain is still possible for at least the next hour in McLennan County, so be aware of any washed out roadways and NEVER try to cross standing water...
10/25/2025
(4:22p) SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING extended into McLennan County, including Waco.
This storm is still capable of wind gusts of up to 60 mph.
A few cores of pea to dime size hail are starting to develop near the Coryell/McLennan/Bell County lines as well.
10/25/2025
(3:20p) The SEVERE THUNDERSTORM currently over northern Lampasas County is capable of up to Ping Pong Ball sized hail.
It's currently moving east at 35mph. It should cross HWY 281 between Adamsville and Evant momentarily before sliding into Coryell County.
It's been on a weakening trend the past few scans, but still maintains the possibility for large hail.
