Knobs and Knockers

When you have that one family member that mocks you for doing what you love…keep going!

I have helped clients create beautiful homes, it gives me hope I can get back to what I love. Painting, creating, connecting.

See you Sunday
Ford Market, 🇬🇧 UK

My Mother passed away March 14. After a fall, breaking her hip. Dementia and surgery at 90 wasn’t easy for her.

With grief comes small victories, shifting from caring to finding my creative side again. I haven’t picked up a paint brush, but I plucked up the courage to open a little market stall at Ford Market in England.

I hope this outlet will help heal some of the pain of losing Mum & Allan , Dad & Dorothy and two dear friends in the last few years.

I’ll post my journey and some wonderful finds along the way.

Painting in England by the sea 🌊

As a few of you know I’m in England helping my Mother who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s/dementia. It hasn’t been easy, this is an awful disease and I’m away from my family in Texas. I packed my paint brushes and bought a few pots of paint in England, charity shops are filled with cheap furniture so I’m quite happy painting and long hikes on weekends.
Wishing you all a very happy New Year.
