The Rhyne Retreat in Canton with Mid-Century Modern Style flair has been extemely enjoyable to build so far.

We just completed the foam insulation stage on the interior while we’ve started stone and brick on the exterior. Horizontal siding and T&G soffits on the porches will be starting soon, with two different types of siding, wood and metal, to add amazing texture to the exterior.

Our trades have been fantastic to work with throughout the process. As with anything, continual dialog and communication is key especially when building a truly one of a kind custom home. Our client had been incredible to work with, asking the right questions and always making decisions on finishes as needed in a timely manner.

The Rhyne Retreat in Canton in coming along nicely. This beautiful home -with it’s nod to Mid-Century Modern style -is grabbing the attention of the local community because of its very unique features. 53 Anderson windows allows abundant natural light into the home, and steel beams on the back porch to add a unique touch to the back of the home. An interior feature that everyone who tours the home mentions are the long elegant hallways on both sides of the house.

The exterior features a mix of gorgeous black brick, white stone and metal/wood siding and tongue and grove porch ceilings.

The metal roof, plumbing and HVAC rough-in are the latest phases to be completed.

This coming week the 20’ x 8’ all glass folding patio door and 5 lite iron front door will be installed and electrical rough-in will be completed. Foam insulation will quickly follow, in addition to installation of fireplaces and brick/stone work will commence.
