SAT Summer Camps are quickly approaching! Don't miss this opportunity to get your student ready and prepared for the SATs! Camps are offered on July 18-22 or July 25-29! The camp will comprehensively cover ALL the various sections of the SAT (math, writing, reading, essay) and introduce students to many different proven test taking strategies to help tackle the SATs. Students will even have the opportunity to take a mock SAT on their final day of the camp, which allows students to really utilize everything they’ve learned through out the week into practice.

Our team is looking for a gifted, experienced and caring tutor who is proficient in a variety of advanced math subjects (AP Calculus, AP Stats, Pre-calculus, Algebra II and/or SAT/ACT Math), cares deeply for each student’s success, demonstrates patience in instruction and connects well with students in high school and in college.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree (Minimum Requirement)
Certified in Secondary Math OR a degree in Mathematics
3+ years of experience teaching/tutoring in math
A “team first” mentality
Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings and some Saturday mornings
A willingness to go above and beyond to ensure student’s academic success
Punctuality in tutoring time and in communication with other team members

Responsibilities:

Provide both individual and small group tutoring
Monitor student performance and provide quality ethical instruction
Build relationships with parents
Instill confidence in each student
Communicate progress and results to the Center Director
Communicate with parents regarding student’s progress
Prompt email/text/VM response time
The ability to work with students of varying abilities including those in need of remediation
