With less than one month to go until America’s 250th Birthday, is preparing to open the doors to a new, immersive museum experience beneath the Lincoln Memorial in just a few weeks. The museum will celebrate U.S. history and the iconic memorial’s enduring role as a backdrop for defining moments in American life, from the Civil Rights Movement to Vietnam War protests and beyond.

Procon was fortunate to serve as the CMa on this multi-year effort to transform the memorial’s long-abandoned, three-story undercroft into a modern museum space. From stalactites to exhibit installations, recently provided a behind-the-scenes look at the complexity, significance, and craftsmanship behind this important project.

Exploring DC’s Hidden Treasures with

Procon’s Sally Clark, Jessica Hill-Wachter, Justin Chang, and Abbey Sheasley joined our JV partner, Brown Construction Services, and fellow construction management professionals for a guided architecture tour of the Dupont Circle neighborhood. The experience was led by local real estate legend and social media star, Joseph Himali, whose passion for DC architecture and history brought the city to life.

A highlight of the tour? A stop at The Cairo apartment building where we learned the real reason behind DC’s 130 ft. building height limit (hint: it’s not the Washington Monument!).

Many thanks to for hosting a dynamic event — from the meaningful conversations to the chance to experience DC from a fresh perspective.

Procon’s March Madness for Charity Winner is...
Director Heather Mendez, CCP 🏀

With University of Michigan taking the championship, our bracket competition came down to the wire—but in the end, Heather Mendez claimed the top spot with an impressive 139 points.

Heather has chosen to direct her charitable winnings to support her local high school’s tennis team, turning friendly competition into meaningful community impact.

Shoutout to our runners-up:
- Aaron Gary, Technology Specialist, who secured second place with 130 points
- Laura Reuss, Senior Proposal Coordinator, who finished close behind with 129 points

And a BIG thank you to all 70 Procon participants who joined in this year—the Procon pool was a fun way to connect across teams and ultimately give back.
