Our Story

Animal Resource Friends (ARF), formerly Friends of Mebane’s Animals (FoMA,) is a 501(c)(3) advocacy organization that works with pets and their families, along with local organizations, to provide pet food, shelter, and fencing in situations where financial need is demonstrated. Pet families seeking assistance must meet ARF financial guidelines, as well as agreeing to have their pets spayed or neutered to address the pet overpopulation problem. ARF’s overall goal is promoting the welfare and well being of animals in the Alamance County area.
