Across Town Farm

Over the last few months, we found ourselves frustrated with our current feeding program for a variety of reasons. As everyone knows, the cost of quality grain and hay is astronomical right now. So, when you're feeding what you're told is the best and the horses aren't looking or going like what you want, you begin to ask why.

Huge thanks to our vets who helped us connect with Legacy Equine Nutrition and Rachel Mottet. Rachel has helped us change not just what we are feeding but the way that we were feeding it to find a new program that seems to be working better for the horses. We are also thrilled with our transition to Hallway Feed thanks to Doreen Sullivan-Durr.

We are so proud of Lily Schmitt who was awarded the Jumper Style Award by the judges for her performance in both the 1.0 and 1.10 Junior Jumper divisions on Nefriet EBZ and Oneder Boy. Lily was unfortunately not present for this surprise award presentation, so we were honored to accept on her behalf.

Lily has worked so hard over the past 2.5 years that she has been with us through patiently working her way up the levels, rehabbing horses and understanding that it’s always a process to get where you want to be! She is an excellent student, puts the horses first and always comes to the ring with a positive attitude.

Lily we are so proud of the rider you have become and to be a part of your journey! Congratulations on being the 2026 recipient of the Aiken Spring Classic Jumper Style Award!

Congratulations to Lily Schmitt on her lease of Across Town Farm’s “Oneder Boy.”  These two stepped right up to the plate with great ribbons in the 1.10 Juniors with only one lesson under their belt prior!  The sky is the limit with this one, and we can’t wait to watch this team develop!
