NEWTOWN-EDGMONT WINS THEIR SECOND STRAIGHT DISTRICT 19 12U TITLE 🏆🏆

Newtown-Edgmont took down Ridley 9-2 today to claim their second straight title. John Sirolli gets the win on the mound for the second consecutive season as he struck out 13 over five innings, while Jamie Lukach recorded the final three outs.

Jai Bhan got the scoring going with a two-run single in the second, and Logan Harfst’s two-run double kicked off a six-run fifth inning. Oliver Roscoe also homered while Reid Arland and Jamie Lukach drove in two runs each.

Newtown-Edgmont now advances to the Section 8 Tournament starting next Saturday 7/18 at Lower Perk!

⚾️ 12's: South Marple will play Ridley tonight at 6:00 PM at Media for the loser's bracket championship, where the winner will advance to face Newtown-Edgmont in tomorrow's championship game at South Marple at 6:00 PM.

⚾️ 11's: After Ridley forced the if necessary game with a 7-1 win over Media last night, we'll do it all again tonight for all the marbles at Ridley at 6:00 PM.

⚾️ 10's: South Marple and Aston-Middletown will play in an elimination game tonight at 6:00 PM at Marple to advance to the loser's bracket championship on Friday at Marple once again.
