“The Education Foundation of the Delaware County Community College hosted the Scholarship Luncheon on October 11th to honor students and our generous donors. We are thrilled to report that the Legal Studies and Paralegal Program (LGL) student Holly Voscavage was one of the scholarship recipients. She was joined at the event by Nilufar Jamir, Director or the Program, Pat Flick, our generous donor, and off course many others. Holly graduates this Fall with an excellent academic record.”

"Today the Register of Wills Office was excited to welcome students from the Paralegal Studies Program at . The students were present along with their Director of Paralegal Studies, Nilufar A. Jamir and Richard M. Lutz, Esquire, Coordinator of the Family Advocacy Center. They met with First Deputy, Julie Everett, Marriage License Clerk, Angela Tibbs and Orphans’ Court Administrator, Dan Anderson who spoke with the students about the functions here in the Register of Wills Department. They learned about the process of obtaining a Marriage License needed to get legally married in the State of PA and the requirements to do so, along with information on how to obtain copies of previously issued marriage licenses needed for the DMV, name change etc. They gained information about Hearings held before Register Rongione, the process of probating a will or opening an estate for Letters of Administration and the issuance of legal documents needed to handle assets when a loved one has passed away.
