Happy Friday! Had a fantastic return customer ask to check out a leak that they had near there furnace and hot water tank. Determined that the water accumulation was due to the evaporator pump not functioning. Water was leaking from the coil and there was no good way to collect the water from leaking on the floor until the HVAC company can dispatch. So, I put on my MacGuyver hat and used what I had with me. CAT6 cable and used the pull string in the cable to wick water to a bowl. Worked out well!
