One of the things I love most about owning a bookstore is getting to celebrate books written by friends, and I'm so excited to finally share that preorders are open for I Am the Monster Under the Bed by Emily Zinnikas!
This one immediately caught my attention with its creepy small-town atmosphere, long-buried secrets, and the question of who the real monster is. Willa is the only survivor of a tragedy that happened thirty years ago, and when she returns home, she's forced to confront the past everyone else would rather forget.
The premise alone had me hooked. A dark mystery with supernatural elements and all the unsettling vibes we love heading into spooky season.

Today 5/23, we’re closing a bit early for some family Memorial Day fun! Normal operating hours tomorrow.
