Job Title: Sales Associate
Job Type: Full-Time
Reports To: Store Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at Valley Hardware. The ideal candidate will provide outstanding service to our customers, assist with product selection, maintain store appearance, and support daily store operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers promptly and warmly; assist with product inquiries and purchases
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of store products and promotions
Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure merchandise is clean and well-presented
Operate the cash register, handle transactions, and process returns or exchanges
Answer phone calls and provide information or direct calls appropriately
Assist with inventory counts and receive/store new stock
Maintain a safe and clean store environment
Collaborate with team members to meet sales goals and deliver top-notch service
Help in our lumber department

Qualifications
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn
