Community Invited to Help Create Teddy Roosevelt Mural

Uplift Meeker is excited to continue the Pioneers in Paint Project with a new community paint-by-number mural featuring Theodore Roosevelt, one of the most influential figures in western conservation and outdoor recreation.

Community members of all ages are invited to stop by Meekerpalooza on Friday, June 12, on the Courthouse Lawn and help bring the mural to life by painting a section of the design. No artistic experience is necessary—just grab a brush and join in the fun!

The completed artwork will first be displayed around the community before becoming a permanent outdoor mural in downtown Meeker. The project is designed to celebrate the people and stories that helped shape our region while creating opportunities for residents and visitors to leave their mark on a lasting piece of public art.

The Pioneers in Paint Project is part of Uplift Meeker's ongoing efforts to enhance downtown through public art, celebrate local heritage, and create meaningful community connections.
