600 runners in Satellite Beach and another 1300 across 50 states and 8 countries, all of them invited to answer the question "What will you run for?" They ran for loved ones lost to su***de, they ran for loved ones struggling with addiction, they ran for their own struggle with depression. Some walked. Some crossed the 3.1 miles in wheelchairs. Some pushed little ones in strollers, a picture of "people need other people." They helped us raise more than $30,000, and the whole thing adds up to this: We can push ourselves to overcome, to do what seemed impossible, to finish. Because we're all in this together. Because we do not go alone.
