Antique restoration time! The Original Safety Bar Corkscrew
A classic English Gilchrist 1897 cast iron safety bar
corkscrew, marked ‘Original Safety Reg. No. 543083’,
produced by Gaskill and Chambers. Brittain and I found this awesome bar mounted corkscrew at an antique store in Florida. I can’t wait to see if we can transform this rusted/peeling 100+ year old corkscrew into our newest addition to our home.
