Share the history of Memphis by volunteering as a Tour Guide with Elmwood Cemetery! 🪦📖 This ongoing opportunity helps bring local history to life by guiding educational tours through one of the city’s most historic landmarks.

Volunteer tour guides lead youth and adult groups through Elmwood Cemetery, sharing stories that reflect the rich history of Memphis and the people who helped shape it. Training and a provided script from staff make it easy to get started, and volunteers can choose the tours that fit their availability.

⏰ 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM (tour times vary)
📅 Ongoing volunteer opportunity

Tours are typically scheduled during the school week for youth groups and occasionally for adult private groups, lasting about two hours each.

Volunteers will work alongside the Mo, Inc. and RISE Memphis teams to spread awareness about financial wellness, personal savings goals, and how the Memphis Saves Campaign can help individuals and families build stronger financial futures. This is a great opportunity for anyone passionate about community outreach, education, and economic empowerment.
