TRY THE WORD
“My Truth vs God’s Truth” — Just keeping it 💯. People love “my truth” because it never challenges them, but God’s truth won’t let you stay the same. Culture says speak your truth, but Heaven says submit to Mine. Truth isn’t flexible, we are, and God owns the standard. Jeremiah 23:16–17 and Proverbs 14:12 remind us that what seems right can still be wrong. What truth have you been avoiding because you knew it would force you to grow? When we create our own truth, we create chaos. “My truth” feels good until it destroys something you care about. Isaiah 5:20 shows how we twist right and wrong. Second Timothy 4:3–4 shows how we chase voices that agree with us instead of voices that grow us. Romans 1:25 shows how we trade God’s truth for lies that sound deep but lead nowhere. God’s truth doesn’t bend, break, or bow. Truth doesn’t adjust to you, you adjust to it. John 17:17 shows God’s Word is the standard. John 14:6 shows Jesus is the truth. John 8:31–32 shows truth produces freedom, not excuses. You don’t drift into truth, you decide to walk in it. Let Scripture override your feelings because when the Bible confronts you, that’s not rejection, that’s rescue. Surround yourself with people who love you enough to correct you because real community won’t clap for your downfall. Practice truth daily in your home, your relationships, your decisions, and your habits. Delete “my truth” and replace it with God’s Word says, Scripture teaches, and The Lord is leading me. Truth requires guts. It’s not always comfortable, but it is always liberating. Stop living by what feels true and start living by what is true. Your future, your family, and your purpose rise or fall on the truth you choose to follow. Psalm 119:105 reminds us that God’s Word is the lamp and our feelings are not.
