About MOVE-HIRE
MOVE-HIRE is a tuition-free grant program allowing individuals the opportunity to receive training & employment in the high skilled, high paying, & in-demand fields of Medical Device and Advanced manufacturing right here in Memphis. Participants are sure to receive industry-recognized credentials (from schools like Southwest, Moore Tech, TN College of Applied Technology, & Arkansas State University Mid-South) and work-based learning opportunities including apprenticeships, on-the-job training, and internships (for Engineering sudents at University of Memphis). MOVE-HIRE is designed to move unemployed or underemployed individuals to high paying manufacturing careers such as: Machinining, Metal Finishing, Quality Assurance, Logistics, Packaging, & Engineering.
