The Grand Masters Of Cooking Disasters

Saw it has been more than a minute since I posted anything here about the GMoCD folks and what some of us have been doing. Just this weekend we (Me _Brad _ and Cindy as well as our brother from another mother Rick W) did an event the local guys like to do. The Polar Bear Plunge Fire and Ice Chili contest. All proceeds go to the Special Olympics. No I do NOT jump in that cold water but do the chili contest. I had a People's Choice entry and a main. Cindy manned the People's choice samples to the crowd and I worked the Main entry from scratch on site. We did the math and figure this contest has been going on for a total of 19 years. I didn't hear about it right at first and it was shutdown for the covid for 2 years. They give you a team sign each time. I have 16 of the signs. Great contest ran by a great team led by Lisa M Taylor.Might have taken me a minute to figure it out but The Brown _Posey family have (brag brag) alot of bling from this one.

MM's came in 6th out of 67 entree's

Just had to show this off. Decided tonight that I wanted a sit down dinner and I wanted it to be a Grilled pork chop. Not going to say where but it was a Steak House. Veggies still had a pop and were not mushy and well seasoned. Pork Chop could be cut with a fork .... Oh my goodness. I asked for them to be medium and look at that cook. Needless to say I made a VERY " Happy Plate"
Mouth lips and belly .... very very happy 🙂

GTG from Tiger lane this weekend. Did some chops and chicken on the Ole Hickory at home. Tucker grill was our neighbors and a rock star pit. Seats great as always
