We have a very special guest for our September wine dinner, which is the second act of our double feature on South Africa.

Francois Haasbroek - winemaker and owner of Blackwater Wine in Swartland - will be joining us in-person to share his experience and insight into what makes South Africa such a special place to make wine.

His wines are some of the most exciting we've tasted lately - they simultaneously balance restrained structures and exuberant aromatics and flavors, and his proficiency with non-traditional varieties like Palomino and Carignan is a true demonstration of his skill.

This will be an incredible opportunity to pick the brain of a winemaker, which is always an insightful and rewarding experience. We hope to see you there!
