Mimi Doe's Homemade Raviolis
We needed an excuse to get together and have fun! So, we bought a pasta maker, grabbed Mimi's recipe from the old country and started making raviolis!!!
We are about to make more of Mimi's delicious homemade raviolis this weekend!!! These wonderful raviolis are stuffed with slow roasted beef, pork, chicken, spinach and cheeses! We hand make the pasta and fill each ravioli generously. Please PM us if you would like to order them now!!
We sell them 5 dozen for $60
Or 2 dozen for $25
We also sell homemade gravy (red sauce). $15 per quart.
If you are wondering how much will feed your family, here's a guideline:
4-6 raviolis feed 1 adult and about 3-4 per child.
Want to know how to prepare them?
Bring water to a slow boil. Add frozen raviolis one at a time. Boil for 13-15 minutes. At about 13 minutes test ravioli by taking one out with a slotted spoon and testing the edge for firmness. When ravioli is firm, they are finished. Take out one at a time with a slotted spoon- do not use a collender. Sauce and enjoy!!
If you want to eat the way our family does, layer sauce/raviolis/sauce/raviolis/sauce in a casserole dish. Bake on 350 for 25 minutes, top with parmigiana and serve with garlic bread and salad!!! Enjoy with your favorite family members and friends!!
