Peabody Rooftop Party

Last night, we celebrated the 157th anniversary of The Peabody Memphis. Dr. James Downing, MD - St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital - was inDUCKted into the Duckwalk Hall of Fame and was the Honorary Duckmaster. Here is a sneak peek 👀 of our photos!!

On a special note, the Memphis Symphony’s Big Band group played a series of music that was written especially for the Peabody Memphis. Always a special treat to hear.

*Plot Twist* The Peabody Ducks were never supposed to stay. What started in 1933 as the ultimate prank - played by General Manager Frank Schutt - turned into one of Memphis’ most unique traditions.

More than 90 years later, our feathered celebrities are still taking a daily dip in the Grand Lobby fountain.

It's safe to say, this prank really took flight. 🦆

Saturday Sunset delivers more than music—they create an immersive experience. Their performances are energetic, emotionally charged, and rooted in passion and connection. Like a sunset, their artistry is meant to be experienced in the moment—bold, unique, and impossible to replicate.

Upgrade to the VIP Lounge for a dedicated bar, limited seating and lite bites. This week’s VIP menu will feature: BBQ Chicken Meatballs, Buffalo Chicken Dip, Hot Spinach, Artichoke Dip - served with Pita and Crostini’s.

General Admission and VIP tickets are available at the door or by visiting our website. The doors open at 6pm with DJ A.D. and Saturday Sunset takes the stage at 7pm.
