A Night to Remember: Honoring Legacy, Celebrating Family Coleman/Durham Family Reunion Banquet | Memphis, Tennessee.

Memphis banquet was filled with laughter, love, and legacy, the Coleman/Durham families came together for the first part of our reunion that was more than just a gathering—it was a homecoming of Ruby & Mary Durham Elzie & Elujah Coleman hearts.

We came to honor our oldest living patriarch, the one we all call Uncle Felt, born May 12, 1935 a “MAN” whose life has been a steady light guiding generations. His presence reminded us that we are part of something greater than ourselves a lineage of resilience, faith, and deep-rooted love.

The banquet was a celebration of all that binds us. Stories flowed like sweet N.C. tea, children danced with joy, and elders smiled. We sang, we laughed, we remembered. And through it all, the spirit of unity moved among us like a hymn we all knew by heart.

As a few ladies sang with a smile, “Big wheels kept turning…” and indeed they did. Because we didn’t just come from a good home in the city we brought that goodness with us. And in this sacred space of reunion, we gave thanks.

To God be the glory for the ties that hold, the memories that linger, and the love that never lets go.
