Y’all remember that movie with River Phoenix and Samantha Mathis as Miranda Presley? Boy, she had me rolling down big crush avenue in That Thing Called Love. It’s one of my favorites, I always end up watching it whenever I’m heading to Nashville. Gets me in my feels. Then again, who am I kidding? I’m always in my feels. Still out here dreaming about that mailbox money, as they say.
I’ll be in town a couple nights this week playing music and would love to see you and hug your neck.

These days, I’m just grateful.
Grateful for the chance to step on a stage, share my songs and story, and lift up my friends as a supportive player. I’m just happy folks still resonate with my heart and words and trust me with theirs live and on record.
I’ve been hustling these old bones just to keep the lights on. Along the way, I’ve been living, learning, collecting, and trying my hardest to be kind to myself. My therapist says that’s good for me.
I’ve gotten pretty good at putting myself back together, kinda like kintsugi. 🥷🏻
Lately my spider senses have been tingling. Could be new songs swirling, could just be the rattle in my old truck I can’t seem to fix. Either way, I’m out here throwing paint at the wall to see what sticks.
I actually like this picture, probably because I’m covering my face 😅 and because Jamie Harmon always makes me laugh. (He’s the best)
