Northern Indiana Safety Educators Association in cooperation with Valparaiso University are excited to announce the 2026 Great Lakes Community Risk Reduction Conference will be back for its fourth year!

The Great Lakes Community Risk Reduction Conference aims to host all facets of community risk reduction including fire service, mobile integrated health, community-oriented policing, social work, disaster preparedness, and public-private partnership.

Changing this year, will be the format of the conference. A social event will be hosted on the evening of November 11th. This event will include a social hour with sponsors, followed by an informal roundtable for discussion on community risk reduction topics...with drinks and snacks.

The conference will be hosted at the beautiful Ballroom at Harre Union in the heart of the Valparaiso University campus. The conference will be held on November 12th, beginning at 8am.

Registration for the conference will open July 7th, 2026. Anticipated conference registration will be $85.00.
