Record Store Day 2026 is here, featuring nearly 350 special edition LPs, CDs and Cassettes!

Those of you who have been here for previous RSDs / Black Fridays already know how all of this works, but for those coming by for the first time, this is how we do it ...

* OPENING TIME: The door opens at 8 A.M.! During the hour before opening, as usual, we will be pulling lists from as many people at the front of the line as we can in order to speed up the pace of the queue at opening time. If you wish to avoid the line entirely, we generally have it taken care of by 10-11 AM (depending on that day's turnout).

* NOTE: While the temperature part of the weather forecast certainly looks better than, say, the last couple of Black Fridays have turned out, those in line might want to bring along an umbrella or two as the threat of rain is definitely there once the sun comes up.

* ONE PER TITLE PER CUSTOMER: In order to spread out the releases to as many customers as possible, *all* RSD titles are strictly limited to one apiece per customer on that day, with NO EXCEPTIONS (If you're wanting to buy a copy for a friend or relative, they're going to have to be here to buy it). Once we get to Sunday, there are no limits on the RSD releases.

* PLEASE KEEP PLAZA DOORWAYS CLEAR: In the interest of keeping the peace with the other tenants in the plaza, we ask that those waiting in the line *please* keep the doorways into the other stores in the plaza clear. We all thank you in advance for your co-operation!

*ADDITIONAL SALES THIS WEEKEND!: In addition to the Record Store Black Friday releases, we are also recharging the clearance sale on vinyl LPs from this last Black Friday weekend (this sale is located in the two endcap bins album bins at the front of the store). ALL releases in this bin marked with an orange slash are 50% off the lowest marked price (so, if the album is marked $14.99, your price will be $7.49!)! This is a great chance to pick up some older releases you may have missed or been thinking about for a while for the best price ever!
