You Can’t Market Your Way Into Being the First
In the early 90’s, ProTaper MTB was the first to develop a specific variable wall thickness for mountain bike handlebars. The result was a lighter, stronger and stiffer handlebar than anything available at the time. This was the birth of ProTaper.
From day one, we never stopped pushing the limits. While we are extremely proud of our latest iteration of ProTaper product, one thing remains steadfast: apply more material where you need it, and less where you don’t.
We’re excited for the launch of the latest ProTaper components into the mountain bike market. ProTaper’s product portfolio includes the latest iteration of our iconic philosophy of material distribution for both carbon and aluminum handlebars. We’ve also completely reengineered our stems and an all-new, low profile platform pedal. This represents the latest generation of innovation from the brand that originated and defined the high-performance cockpit.
Additionally, we are evolving how customers have access to our product. ProTaper mountain bike components will be available through both specialty bicycle retailers and direct from ProTaperMTB.com.
