🥎 **3RD PLACE FINISH – USSSA ILLINOIS STATE CHAMPIONSHIP** 🥎

What a weekend for **Mequon Mayhem 16U Black** in Peoria, Illinois!

After opening the tournament with a strong **3-0 start**, the team dropped one game and was forced into the lower bracket. Instead of backing down, these athletes battled their way through an incredible Sunday, winning four consecutive games in 90+ degree heat to fight their way back into championship contention.

Over the course of the weekend, Mayhem played an incredible nine games, showing tremendous grit, resilience, and determination every step of the way. Their amazing run came up just one game short of the championship game, earning an outstanding 3rd Place finish at the **USSSA Illinois State Championship**.

We couldn't be prouder of the heart, toughness, and perseverance this team displayed all weekend. They never quit, competed until the final out, and represented Mequon Mayhem with pride.

Mequon Mayhem 16U Red wrapped up a great weekend at the Mosinee Elite Tournament by earning 3rd place in the Gold Bracket!

The team finished strong with a 6-0 shutout victory in the 3rd place game.

Proud of the way these girls battled all weekend and continued to compete against tough competition. Keep building and keep grinding!
