It was a very busy weekend across the 83rd district. Started off at Grassroots Berlin’s event at Veteran’s Park, followed by the wonderful 100th birthday celebration for Meriden legend Rhudean Raye, capping off Saturday with and evening with Jahana Hayes and the Cheshire Democratic Women’s Club. Sunday was all about Meriden—doors for Jack Fazzino, the Meriden Lions Club annual Duck Race and Car Show, and some neighborhood turf for me. It’s a privilege to have so many community events to keep me going.
