On July 15, the Nampa City Council voted to remove all VRT funding from the city's proposed FY2027 budget, which would eliminate Route 40, Route 42, VRT On-Demand, and Access from Nampa effective October 12th.
How to share your feedback:
• August 4 at 5 p.m.: VRT public hearing at Happy Day Transit Center (ridevrt.org/nampa-hearing)
• August 12 at noon: Deadline to submit public comments to the Nampa City Clerk
• August 17 at 6 p.m.: Nampa City budget public hearing, council vote and budget adoption
• Contact the Nampa City Clerk or their City Council representative

Buses are back on Main Street! 🚌
Routes 8, 10, and 40 have returned to their normal locations on the Upper Deck of Main Street Station on Main Street. Construction was underway between 9th and Capitol Boulevard for just over a month.
Thanks to our riders for being flexible during the construction. We’re happy to see buses back on the Upper Deck, getting riders where they need to go!

Downtown Boise construction is clearing up, which means routes 8, 10, and 40 will move back to the Upper Deck on Main Street outside of Main Street Station starting tomorrow (Saturday, July 11). Plan your trip 👉 ridevrt.org.
Have you spotted VRT’s America 250 bus around town yet? 🚌🇺🇸
To celebrate America’s 250th anniversary, VRT partnered with Stoltz Marketing Group to create a bus wrap that honors our nation’s history while highlighting the role transit plays in connecting our communities.
We talked with Tyler Penner, the designer behind the wrap, to learn about what inspired the design, the challenges of creating graphics for a moving vehicle, and how the final concept came together.
Designing a bus isn’t quite like designing a billboard or a poster. The artwork has to stand out from the road at highway speeds while also rewarding a closer look when the bus is stopped. Every color, graphic, and detail has a purpose.
