Take a look at Totschool’s art wall! We are working on our ocean unit right now, so they created crabs and starfish. They may look simple, but look closely and think about the process! They used puffy paint and bubble wrap to paint these--fostering sensory exploration through different textures. These activities also help our teachers gauge new student’s fine motor levels and cognitive abilities when observing them practice different art techniques like stamping or swiping. Seemingly simple crafts are thoughtfully planned to promote growth and creativity!
