Hopping on the “2026 is the new 2016” trend! I scrolled waaaaaay back and these are the photos we featured one year ago TODAY!

During the holidays

It’s the photos that I don’t have that are sometimes the most poignant reminder of this…like what I would give to have a photo of myself wearing my paperboy bag all loaded up with the newspapers I had rolled! 🗞️🗞️🗞️ (I can still smell that newsprint & remember having my hands blackened with newspaper print.)

Because of this regret I may or may not be the stalker/paparazzi mom who stands at the Starbucks counter and takes iPhone pics of my daughter helping her drive through customers. ☕️

I may or may not have caused some eye rolls from my son when I not-so-surreptitiously snapped some photos of him taking orders outside at the Chick-Fil-A drive through.😏

And I still regret not being sneaky and getting photos of my kids when they worked as lifeguards and swim instructors! 🛟

Just like they say in basketball…you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take!📸

One day all your children will have is
PICTURES OF YOU. Make sure you are in them NO MATTER WHAT your hair looks like, your make up, or your body. They won’t care about any of that, they’ll just want to see you. DO IT FOR THEM.
