📚 "BARBARA'S NEXT CHAPTER: 100 YEARS LOVED" 📚 It's been my pleasure to create this lovely woman's 98th and 99th birthday cakes, and now her 100th! [Thanks Liz for asking me again!]
When I heard the theme was books, not gonna lie....I panicked a little inside. Enter to the rescue! I ordered two of their fabulous book stamped sugar sheets and wrapped them around the cake. Voila! They were exactly as I expected with rich, vibrant colors. They covered a 4 layer 6" Gluten-free Lemon cake filled with Fresh Lemon Curd and White Chocolate buttercream. The bottom tier is 4 layers of Gluten-free Chocolate Espresso cake filled with Espresso Buttercream, covered in Chocolate Espresso Buttercream, gold baubles, edible glitter and a custom cake topper. I used my favorite "Rustic Scallop" cake comb from on the bottom tier. There's a ra-diculous amount of butter in this cake and it's all butter! SO beyond sweet and creamy. My bakes have never been this good! 😋
Everything came together perfectly for me with this cake: it's probably my favorite of all time. 🤗
