πŸ“Ό Summer Rewind

One of the most meaningful designs we've ever created celebrated an unexpected part of Meridian Library District history... Figaro, the Library Cat. 🐈

While preparing for the library's 100th anniversary, we uncovered the story of Figaro, a black-and-white cat who adopted the Meridian Free Library in 1976 and made it home for several years.

Inspired by that discovery, we created a collection featuring original watercolor artwork from our Figaro, the Meridian Free Library Cat book, giving this beloved piece of library history a second life.

You can still shop the Figaro collection and other past favorites in our Bonfire shop:

πŸ“Ό Summer Rewind

Before the World Tour collection, there was Read Banned Books.

This simple design featured the titles of books that have been challenged and banned both locally and across the country. It was created to be a conversation starter about the freedom to read and the important role libraries play in providing access to a wide range of ideas and perspectives.

What happened next was something none of us expected.

This shirt went viral, raising nearly $100,000 to support the Meridian Library District. We still can't quite believe it.

We hope that every time you walk into Orchard Park Library, especially the Children's Area and Sensory Room, you're reminded of what we accomplished together. Your support helped make those spaces possible, and that's something we'll always be grateful for.

You can still find this design, along with many of our past collections, in our Bonfire shop:

πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ Happy Fourth of July!

Today we celebrate the birth of our nation and the freedoms that continue to shape who we are, including the freedom to read, to learn, to question, and to share ideas.

As we look toward America's 250th anniversary, we're especially grateful for the countless authors, poets, storytellers, and artists whose voices have helped shape the American story across generations. Their words challenge us, inspire us, and remind us that there is no single American experience, only a rich tapestry of stories waiting to be discovered.

Here's to 250 years of stories, curiosity, and the freedom to read!
