We’re proud to celebrate two Sorren leaders who were recognized at Idaho Business Review's 2026 ICON & Accomplished Under 40 Awards on June 9.
Congratulations to Lisa Donnelley on being named an ICON Award recipient, and to Matthew Goodfellow for being recognized among this year's Accomplished Under 40 honorees.
The ICON Awards honor established leaders who have made a significant impact in their profession and community, while Accomplished Under 40 recognizes emerging leaders whose achievements, leadership, mentorship, and service are shaping the future of Idaho.
"Thank you so much for this incredible honor," shared Donnelley. "While my name may be on this award, it truly belongs to the many people who have been part of this journey — team members, partners, clients, friends, and family. Their trust, support, and belief have made every success possible."
Beyond professional achievement, these awards recognize those who lead by example and invest in the success of future generations.
"I am very honored to receive this recognition," said Goodfellow. "I feel incredibly blessed to work with clients in our amazing Idaho community. I would not be where I am today without the support of my mentors throughout my career and I look forward to pouring into the next generation of leaders in the same way."
We’re grateful to have Lisa and Matthew as part of the Sorren team and thrilled to see their contributions recognized.

The future of accounting isn’t just being discussed—it’s being built.
At , two of our Sorren leaders helped drive that conversation.
Lisa Gilreath joined industry leaders for The Exit + Equity Roadmap panel, sharing insights on the evolving M&A landscape, private equity, and what growth and consolidation mean for the future of accounting firms.
Matthew May presented The Human in the Loop: Building the Firm AI Can’t Replace, exploring how firms can embrace innovation while preserving the human judgment, leadership, and relationships that create lasting value.
Beyond the sessions, Karbon Next brought together some of the brightest minds in the profession to discuss leadership, technology, operational excellence, and the opportunities ahead for our industry.
Thank you to Karbon for creating space for these important conversations and letting us help drive the change with clarity, confidence, and a forward-looking perspective.

A few days away from the office, surrounded by hundreds of accounting marketing and business development professionals, is a good reminder that no firm is navigating growth and change alone.
Last week at the Association for Accounting Marketing (AAM) Summit in Palm Springs, members of the Sorren marketing team had the opportunity to learn from industry leaders, exchange ideas with peers across the country, and have honest conversations about the evolving role of marketing in professional services. From breakout sessions and workshops to the conversations in between, the week brought fresh perspective, practical ideas, and meaningful connections.
We’re also incredibly proud to celebrate some exciting recognition from this year’s AAM Marketing Achievement Awards:
🏆 2026 Content Marketing Campaigns Award — External: Talent/Recruiting
🏆 2026 Website Award — Budget Above $60,000, alongside our creative partner SOVRN Creative
And congratulations to Tara Davis, Sorren National Marketing Director, on her nomination for Marketer of the Year.
We’re also proud to have Tara Davis and Julia Sugden present “A Sorren Case Study in Navigating Rapid Change,” sharing practical insight into how marketing leaders can help firms navigate disruption and turn complexity into clarity, alignment, and growth.
Proud of the collaboration, creativity, and momentum our team continues to build together — and excited to bring new ideas and energy into the rest of the year.
