The Merritt Island Redevelopment Agency (MIRA) extends best wishes for a safe and happy July 4th Holiday!! In observance of our Nation's 250th birthday, Brevard County Government offices and departments will be closed on Friday, July 3. We thank our Emergency Services personnel, who will remain on duty during this time. Enjoy!

Congratulations to Back Brevard Heroes on the success of their 7th Annual HeroFest!! This free community event featured a day of appreciation for Brevard County's first responders and celebrated them with games, displays, entertainment and, of course, delicious food! Thank you to all of our amazing HEROES!!
