The Day of Christ

“Let no one deceive you by any means. For that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is unveiled, the son of perdition.” (2 Thessalonians 2:3)

The Apostle Paul here is addressing everyone who have ‘rapture’ on their minds!
He wrote this letter because of a forged letter suggesting that the Thessalonians had missed the gathering together of the saints.
And as he writes, he informs them of 2 things that had to happen first, before that could happen:
1. The Falling Away (from the faith—1 Tim 4:1) must come first.
2. The Man of Sin is Unveiled.

Until that time, we press on, doing the Lord's work until He shuts the door, and the Age of Grace has come to a close.
As for the Day of Christ? We await these two things first:
The mother of all falling aways from the faith...
And, the unveiling of the Antichrist.
