Over the last 49 years, God has been writing my story one chapter, one transition, one lesson at a time. Looking back, I don’t just see experiences. I see purpose woven through every season.

Education gave me the foundation—discipline, responsibility, and a hunger to grow.

The military forged my character—honor, resilience, sacrifice, and the courage to serve something bigger than myself. What I now call God’s discipline for God’s destiny.

Business sharpened my leadership—strategy, stewardship, relationships, and the truth that success without purpose is just activity.

Ministry is where it all came together—every gift, every skill, every season converging into one calling: to serve God by serving His people.

Through each chapter, God wasn’t just developing skills; He was developing me. Preparing me for assignments I couldn’t see. Shaping me for responsibilities I didn’t yet understand. Molding me into a leader who could stand in storms, build strong teams, and serve with integrity.

These 49 years remind me:
• God wastes nothing.
• Purpose is progressive.
• Preparation is spiritual.
• And every season sets you up for the next one.

Everything I’ve learned, endured, and accomplished belongs to Him.

If the first 49 years were preparation, the next chapter is multiplication.
God has been faithful and the best is still ahead.

Today marks 27 beautiful years of walking hand-in-hand through life—and what a journey it’s been! With every sunrise and every season, I find more reasons to love you deeply, fully, and to life. You are the heart of our home, the calm in my storm, and the joy in my every day. As we celebrate this milestone, I want to share 27 reasons why I love you—not just to live—but to life:
1. Your unwavering faith – You carry God’s presence in every room you enter.
2. Your gentle strength – You lead with grace and love without needing to shout.
3. Your heart for family – You make everyone feel seen, known, and loved.

Today, I celebrate another year of life with deep gratitude for the wisdom and guidance that these 48 principles have brought me over the years. Each one is a reminder to live intentionally, grow consistently, and always pursue a life of impact and purpose.

Here’s to living a life where God is in control, faith is an action word, and love is an inside job. May we continue to lead ourselves before we lead others, be innovative, and never take life for granted.
