The Real Estate market in Phoenix and neighboring cities have seen a large change this year and that is that the inventory of Active listings has dropped from around 40,000 to under 20,000. As the supply remains this low and buyer demand remains fairly steady we may be seeing prices increasing soon. Mike

Homes, sweet homes? FOR a few months now, some economics writers have been suggesting, ever so cautiously, that America's housing markets might be poised for a second-half turnaround. Others have continued to express gloom.

Are we seeing a bottom? Our Active listings are down to 24,416 thats down from almost 40,000 6-12 months ago. We do have 7,949 AWC and 14,553 Pending WOW. There are a lot of those Pending may be short sales and many of the AWC are short sales but still. In Tempe Active listings are down from around 1,000 to 477 and there are 176 AWC and 338 Pending. I think this requires some attention!
