I was never a person who hung out in the sun , except for as a kid in the MN summers. According to my doctors, most of the damage is done before we are 25 and it can be our genetics as well.

Even if you wear sunscreen, hats and you cover your bod you can still get skin cancer- even where your skin is never exposed to the sun! 😱 Definitely, still wear sunscreen and hats!

After thyroid cancer in January, I was diagnosed with skin cancer, again (3rd time), in August and had another MOHS surgery - this time on and around my top lip. 12 shots and 20 stitches. 😡 I am keeping my eye on a few other other spots, praying they go away 🤦‍♀️🙏

Skin cancer is not the "good cancer ". There is no "good cancer." No matter how any kind of cancer is treated or how it is caused, it leaves all kinds of physical and emotional scars as well affects the people in our circle. 💗

Keep your eye on new or changing moles , pink or skin colored bumps , and wounds that won't heal . Go to a dermatologist.

And, if you are going through it, I am so sorry you are dealing with it too and fighting along with you 💗💗
