Opening Day is TOMORROW! ⚾🥎

We are excited to kick off another great baseball & softball season and can’t wait to see all of our players out on the field!

Here’s what you need to know for the day:
• Ceremony begins at 9:30 AM
• Please arrive by 9:00 AM so players can find their teams and be ready

This year, we’re bringing even MORE fun to Opening Day! We’ve invited local businesses and vendors to help make this a day to remember for everyone.

🍔 Food Trucks:
• Hobbs Big Boy BBQ
• Pichos
• Papa Buck’s (feeding players & coaches only)

🍧 Sweet Treats:
• A Drip Ice Cream Truck
• Wavee Shavee Ice

🎈 Fun Activities for Kids & Families:
• 4-H Face Painting (perfect to get your player game-ready!)
• Diamond Drip – baseball & softball merchandise
• Party Harbour – bounce houses & inflatables
• Azalea Nursing Home – games & activities
• Metter EMS & Metter Fire/Rescue – check out the trucks! 🚑🚒

low as 30. For the second Freeze Warning, sub-freezing temperatures

* WHERE...Dodge, Laurens, Montgomery, Telfair, Wheeler, Wilcox,
Emanuel, Johnson, Treutlen, and Toombs Counties.

* WHEN...For the first Freeze Warning, until 10 AM EDT this morning.
For the second Freeze Warning, from 11 PM this evening to 10 AM EDT
Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other
sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor
plumbing.

Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.

To prevent water pipes from freezing; wrap or drain or allow them to
drip slowly.
