Received an "Achievement in Originality" award for one of my all-time favorite images I've made.

One of my first baby pictures of my daughter, Miabella lying on her back in her mother's, my wife's, hands.

Shot on a black background, I covered my wife with a black cloth with only her hands sticking out, In order to keep the one strobe's light on Miabella and off the background and my wife, I bounced the light off a silver umbrella closed down to almost as far as it would go.

Always an honor to win an award. This image was made on the beach at Bal Harbor in Florida. Pilings a re from an old pier that was relocated a few blocks north of here.
