Today, the Spanish American League Against Discrimination (SALAD) pauses to remember and honor the life of Dr. Luis Conte Agüero on the anniversary of his passing.

Dr. Conte Agüero was a distinguished journalist, author, civic leader, and unwavering advocate for freedom whose voice, integrity, and dedication inspired generations. Within SALAD, he embodied the organization’s enduring commitment to meritocracy, civic engagement, and leadership through service.
