✨ What things are you pursuing + imitating that isn’t leading you closer to God, but leaving you more and more discontent?

✨ This was one of the most confrontational questions I asked myself as I was coming into my faith, studying the Word, and learning my identity as a follower of Jesus.

✨ It took time — & I thank the Lord for His patience with me — I eventually had to acknowledge that chasing the attention, the affirmation, and affection I so deeply craved only left me more confused, pained, and unsatisfied. There is only fulfillment in Christ, because He made you, He knows you, and He loves you perfectly.

In this LIFE, there is LIBERTY, & is found in the PURSUIT of Jesus Christ.

Tselem Images was born out of my journey of faith; trying to understand for myself what it means to be made “in the image of God” (Gen. 1:27). This one phrase has helped me build a deeper appreciation for my true identity as a follower of Jesus Christ.

Our lives aren’t meant to be lived from one high to the next, but from “one degree of glory to another.”
